Miller Huggins has failed to land a great ball club, easily the best that has ever represented the American League in Gotham, at the top of the race and he is due to go the way of Clark Griffith, George Stallings, Harry Wolverton, Hal Chase, Kid Elberfeld, Frank Chance and Bill Donovan. They are already crying for his head in New York.
