Kid Elberfeld Fights Pneumonia Attack
CHATTANOOGA (Tenn.) Jan. 10. (U.P.) - Norman (Kid) Elberfeld, a major league star for 15 years and one of the greatest managers in Southern Association history, is critically ill of pneumonia in the Baroness Erlanger Hospital here, it was revealed tonight.
Elberfeld, now 70, was noted throughout his long baseball career for his brainy and fiery play.
