Kid Elberfeld, formerly with the Nationals and still a big favorite in the Capital is with the Brooklyn Dodgers in the capacity of coach for the infielders. Manager Robinson is high in his praises of the Kid.
"Elberfeld has been of inestimable value to us this spring. There is nothing about the fine points of the game the Kid does not know, and we made no mistake when we grabbed him from the Southern League," was Robinson's comment.
