ELBERFELD PUT UP LIVELY GAME
SHORTSTOP'S FIELDING. FEATURE OF HIGHLANDERS' SECOND DAY'S PRACTICE.
ATLANTA, Ga., March- 10.—The feature of the Highlanders' practice at Ponce de Leon park today was the fielding of Norman Elberfeld. Not once did the little shortstop trip up on a grounder. His throwing to first was not only lightning fast but deadly accurate. Having been at Hot Springs for a fortnight previous to his arrival in Atlanta the Tabasco kid is not afraid of sore muscles and his playing today is the talk of the training camp.
