Elberfield to Direct Baseball School
CLEVELAND, March 22—(AP) —Norman "Kid" Elberfield, a former manager of the New York Yankees, will conduct a baseball school here in May.
Classes, to be held at League Park, will start May 8 and continue through May 27. All amateur, semi-pro and professional players are eligible to attend the classes.
During a long career as a minor league manager, Elberfield has developed and sold to major league clubs many players who became stars, including Bing Miller, Travis Jackson, Charle Grimm, Fred Marberry, Bruce Campbell, Debbie Williams, Babe Herman. Harry Coveleskie and George Cunningham.
