Original 1908 horizontal game action photograph of New York Highlanders star infielder Kid Elberfeld catching Clymer of the Washington Senators off base. The action photo is tremendous for the era but the sweeping backdrop of Hilltop Park is the star of this image with billboard and the famous apartment buildings in center field dominating the backdrop. The photo has a chip off the lower right corner, some creasing to the lower left and some remnants of artistic coloring from a newspaper archive, but overall it presents exceptionally well for being a 112 year old piece of photography.
