LITTLE ROCK. Arkansas - The Little Rock baseball team has won the Southern League pennant. The team's manager was Norman Elberfeld. It Is the first pennant ever won by Little Rock in the 11 years the city has had a baseball club in the Southern Association and the first time that the Southern Association pennant ever has been won by a city west of the Mississippi River. The winning team played a series of games recently with the Fort Worth. Texas, team, also pennant winners.
