Notes: 1909 Ramly T204 Cigarettes Reprint Complete Set

The 1909 T204 Ramly Cigarette Baseball Card set was reprinted in 1993 and features 121 cards with a black-and-white portrait set in a decorative gold "frame". On the original T204 Ramly cards the gold "frame" was embossed, it is not on the reprint set, a key difference between the two. The back of each card is an ad for Ramly Turkish cigarettes, but on the reprint set the phrase "REPRINTED 1993" appears diagonally across the back in light lettering. This set is full of star cards including: Walter Johnson, Cheif Bender, Johnny Evers, Ed Cicotte, Roger Bresnahan, Eddie Keeler, Eddie Plank, and Mordecai Brown. The original T204 Ramly Cigarette baseball cards are extremely difficult to locate. All common cards are priced at over $1000 and many of the variations and star cards are priced over $10,000.

The 2" x 2.5" cards carry black and white oval photograph portraits with beautiful gold frames and borders on the front. The black type backs have only a basic ad from the Ramly cigarette company. Included in this set of 121 old timers is Chief Bender, Roger Bresnahan, Frank Chance, Eddie Collins, Ed Plank, Walter Johnson and Joe Tinker.
