Plank was recently elected to the Hall of Fame here. Eddie's debut in fast company had been effected five days previously in Baltimore. Mack started a pitcher named Baker against McGraw's Orioles and took hjim out after tthe sixth, Plank finishing. Three runs scored on him. He walked a man and fanned one. The number of hits off him remain a mystery. Quaker City fans didn't see Plank until Saturday, June 8, [1901] .
