NORMAN ELBERFELD, known as the Tabasco Kid during his major league playing days at the turn of the century, died at his home in Chattanooga, Tenn., last night. He succumbed to an attack of pneumonia. He was 69. Elberfeld specialized in "Gas-House-Gang" tactics as a player. He managed the New York Yankees in 1908.
